  Just popped in to get some bolts and due to the untidy shelves had to go find someone to check stock. Had the misfortune to ask someone who was literally trying to hide from me. His response was to say they didn't have any and refused to check the spare stock on the top shelves. I waited til he disappeared and found the bolts on the shelf myself... only for another assistant to tell me I wasn't allowed to grab the box. I asked him to do it instead and was told "I can't, this isn't my section". Seriously poor customer service, I went to Wickes in Rushden and got my stuff in less than 5 minutes. No wonder tradespeople advise against B&Q.

  I have been using this store since moving into the area in 2015. I have found every member of staff that I have dealt with to be friendly, polite and very helpful. The store has a happy atmosphere and their role is carried out with just the right amount of humour.
